Social media platform X has introduced a new feature that labels the 'show more replies' button as 'show probable spam'. This change has sparked controversy, particularly among conservative users who claim their posts are being unfairly targeted. Many users report that non-spam replies are being hidden under the 'probable spam' label, limiting their visibility. Critics argue that this new policy lacks transparency and could be used to suppress certain viewpoints. The feature has been implemented without prior notice or explanation from X, leading to widespread confusion and frustration among its user base. Elon Musk has not commented on the issue. Some users report having hundreds of replies labeled as 'probable spam', including instances where all 6 replies to a post were hidden.
This post is probable spam. https://t.co/rK5qqAudQk
Probable spam. https://t.co/Zd4A5ioFW6
I wonder whose genius idea the "show probable spam" warning was? I mean, you click it and none of the posts are even remotely spamlike. X is just randomly libeling innocent users.
As far as I can tell, X's new "probable spam" designation is completely random as I have yet to see a reply beneath that designation that was even remotely spam. I am not sure what they are attempting to achieve by disparaging the character of honest posters.
In this post, X listed every reply as "probably spam." Here are the replies. They are not spam, they are JUST conservatives. WHY IS X LISTING CONSERVATIVE COMMENTS AS SPAM?!!! https://t.co/S2vHwZu1i2
X labeled this reply to my feed as "spam." What the hell is spam about this? https://t.co/ey3T1WW0Hv
How does X determine what is "probable spam?"
So far in my feed I have had hundreds of replies buried beneath the "probable spam" fold. Not ONE of the replies was even remotely spam-like. What they were is conservatives making replies. So is that X's new game? To label conservative replies as "spam?"
I'm curious what qualifies as "probable spam" in the X universe because so far, NONE of the replies in my feed under the "probable spam" fold have been spam! P.S., Of course X implements this new policy with no notice or explanation to users.
This new "Show probable spam" thing is getting completely out of a control. I had a post with 6 replies. ALL 6 were under the "Show probable spam" fold! NONE of them were spam! What the hell is X up to now?

Twitter, if you're going to mark replies to me as "Probable spam", give me a way to tell you that you were wrong.
HEY ELON!!!!! WTF is this (screen cap below)? "Probable spam"??????? None of these are "spam." They are people who follow me who are adding intelligent commentary to an important topic. This needs to get fixed. https://t.co/mIMBINVYJ7
This new "probable spam" label allows X to put normal conservative replies "under the fold" so the comments don't get seen unless the user willfully asks to "see spam." The thing is, it's NOT spam.
Why is X labeling normal conservative posts as "probably spam?" https://t.co/ZFTDO1qRsW

DO THE NEEDFUL AND SHOW PROBABLE SPAM https://t.co/EqFQMFsd8h
Have you noticed the new "Probable Spam" label X is using? This is just a new way for them to limit conservative voices. I already had one reply this morning labeled as "probable spam" that wasn't remotely spam-like.
Why is X labeling this post as "Probable Spam?" There is nothing remotely spammy about this. https://t.co/LjpTvzHXu0
