Several members of Congress have announced significant federal funding secured for various community projects. Representative Susan Wild has brought nearly $1 million to the Allentown Police Department to enhance public safety. Representative Marc Molinaro delivered $1 million to the Town of Liberty and the Town of Thompson as part of the 2024 appropriations law. Rosa DeLauro, Chair of the Appropriations Committee, secured over $16 million in Community Project Funding, while Congressman Tom Kean's office returned over $7 million to New Jerseyans. Representative Mike Levin obtained $19.3 million for the Bud Lewis Desalination Plant in Carlsbad to improve the local water supply. Representative Kathy Castor secured nearly $1 million for the Tampa Police Department to electrify their fleet. Finally, Representative Juan Ciscomani secured $12.5 million for the transfer of the IOI in Nogales to the IBWC.
Investing in our law enforcement & environment is critical to the success and safety of Tampa Bay. I was pleased to secure nearly $1M for @TampaPD to help electrify their fleet and lower taxpayer costs, minimize maintenance, cut dirty pollution & foster safe communities! 🚔🔋 https://t.co/rGPwDosDZE
Excited to join today’s congressional border briefing in Tucson with great news – we secured $12.5M from @HouseAppropsGOP for the transferring of the IOI in Nogales to the IBWC. This has been an ongoing issue, and I am proud to have fought for these needed resources and solution. https://t.co/NFuAtKrF5E
I’m proud to have secured $19.3 million in federal funding for the Bud Lewis Desalination Plant in Carlsbad. This will improve Carlsbad’s seawater intake system, strengthen our local water supply, and reduce the demand for imported water. https://t.co/r8dHokj9sc
My office has helped return over $7 million to New Jerseyans in #NJ07. I came to Congress to fight for New Jerseyans so that everyone in our community has the support and resources they need to thrive. Whether it’s helping them retrieve their hard-earned Social Security benefits… https://t.co/pmpdM9GZ6Y
I am proud to have secured over $16 million in Community Project Funding in 2024 funding, delivering project checks across our community— with more to come! As Chair of the Appropriations Committee, I fought to bring back these programs that invest in our economy & communities. https://t.co/IXi3AITHEz
I fought to deliver $1 million in federal funds to the Town of Liberty & the Town of Thompson. These funds come from a request I made and voted for to deliver in the bipartisan 2024 appropriations law. I will always fight for #NY19. https://t.co/8cuRBXtIPK
Keeping our community safe is one of my main priorities in Congress. That’s why I fought hard to bring nearly $1 million home to our Allentown Police Department, to help protect our officers at crime scenes and bolster our public safety. https://t.co/MYU88fjsqh
