Mayor Eric Adams has announced New York City's largest-ever Summer Streets program, which will feature nearly 20 miles of car-free streets across all five boroughs. The initiative will run on five Saturdays from July 27 to August 24, with extended hours from 7 AM to 3 PM. The program will kick off in Queens and Staten Island on July 27, followed by events in Manhattan on August 3, 10, and 17, and concluding in Brooklyn and the Bronx on August 24. The Summer Streets program offers residents the opportunity to enjoy walking, running, biking, and other activities in a car-free environment.
