The Government of India has approved new transmission schemes worth ₹13,595 crore to evacuate 9 GW of renewable energy power from Rajasthan and Karnataka. These schemes will be implemented through the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) mode and are part of India's goal to achieve 500 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030.
