Starbucks has introduced new iced energy drinks to its permanent menu nationwide. The drinks, named Melon Burst Iced Energy and Tropical Citrus Iced Energy, are available in venti size and contain between 180 to 205 milligrams of caffeine, equivalent to six cans of Coke. These drinks are sugar-free, low-calorie, and made with a tea base. Alongside these beverages, Starbucks has also added new food items, including an egg, pesto, and mozzarella sandwich, and a blueberry streusel muffin. The launch, which occurred on June 25, comes ahead of the summer season to help customers stay refreshed and energized. The new beverages contain twice the caffeine content as a cup of black coffee.
