Tencent's newly launched mobile game, Dungeon & Fighter (DnF) Mobile, has generated significant revenue in its first month, reaching $270 million on iOS in China. This figure is more than double the sales of Tencent's previous best-selling game, Honor of Kings. Independent research from Sensor Tower highlights DnF Mobile's dominance in the Chinese mobile gaming market, outshining all other Tencent games in first-month revenue. Additionally, Tencent had four out of the five top-grossing mobile games in China over the past month. Despite this success, Tencent announced that starting from June 20th, DnF Mobile will no longer be available on certain Android app stores, as the company is fighting high app store fees in China. The game also earned $100 million in its first 10 days in May. DnF Mobile, developed in collaboration with Nexon, was launched on May 21, 2024, and is expected to contribute significantly to Tencent's domestic games sales this year.
