Taiwan's defense ministry has reported a significant increase in Chinese military activity around the island. Over the past week, more than 141 Chinese military aircraft have entered Taiwan’s Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ). In the past 24 hours, 35 PLA aircraft and 7 PLAN vessels were detected operating around Taiwan, with 33 of the aircraft crossing the median line into Taiwan's northern, central, southwestern, and eastern ADIZ. This activity includes various types of aircraft such as J-16 and Y-8, and UAVs. Taiwan's armed forces have monitored the situation and responded accordingly. On June 27, a joint combat patrol was conducted by Chinese forces. The Chinese government has stated it will track down and punish supporters of Taiwan's independence.
