Xu, along with his wife, recently moved to Winnipeg, citing that China's 'air quality was getting bad' as the reason. It has been revealed that both Xu and his wife previously worked for the military academy of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) cyber warfare department, which aids the PLA's cyber warfare capabilities and targets Canadians.
