Adobe has updated its terms of service to grant the company access to users' projects, sparking significant backlash from its customer base. The new terms allow Adobe to access and potentially use content created with its software, both through automated and manual methods. This change has led many users to seek alternative software solutions, with some canceling their Adobe subscriptions entirely. The controversy is particularly notable given Adobe's extensive suite of products, which are widely used in graphic design, video editing, and web development. Critics argue that these updates are not in the best interest of artists and could be seen as an overreach by the company. According to Apple Insider, Adobe's new terms have led to comparisons with spyware.
You can feel the trend of training data war is heating up, like Adobe modified their ToS to allow them to train all private works being synced to their cloud while being a paid customer (those storage is not cheap either). And you know every single touch of post processing is…
Just cancelled all my @Adobe subscriptions! Tired of being screwed over. My only interest was Substance Painter anyways. For anyone looking for a better Substance Painter https://t.co/qT4LBGxkfv
Adobe's new T&C's assumes significance because of its expansive suite of products. Its graphic design, video editing and web development apps are widely used, so much so that the company has often been accused of creating a monopoly. https://t.co/hTfRn3vznz
Good. I’ve already cancelled my Adobe Substance 3D subscription & am considering how to evacuate Adobe Cloud. These updates are not in the best interest of artists. If you want us to use your products, don’t treat us like data-generating-objects. https://t.co/zejUZbbG6x

Adobe joins Microsoft in admitting it's now basically spyware Updated terms give Adobe the right to “access your content through both automated and manual methods”. https://t.co/8YDpprhBye
Adobe's, $ADBE, new terms of service gives them access to all of your projects, for free, per Apple Insider.
Meanwhile in the non-cyber security world: graphic design nerds are foaming out the mouth as Adobe slip steams 'your work is now ours' into their agreement checkbox (that you probably don't read) tl;dr they own whatever you make in their software https://t.co/ufhjvkf1X0
You guys that use @Adobe photoshop might want to look into an urgent alternative, because they just decided to bend all of their customers over a table and gorilla-f**k them. Who on earth actually thought this would fly!?
I’ve been fully off Adobe for a year now. Davinci and affinity photo. 👍 I left simply because I was cutting down on monthly expense. With the latest from them, I’m even happier I did. You won’t see their software in a tutorial from me. Substance included.
