On April 4, Latvian Prime Minister Evika Silina announced a comprehensive aid package for Ukraine for 2024, including 5.3 million euros for reconstruction and 4.3 million euros to support the Armed Forces through the European Peace Fund. Latvia will also supply drones worth 1 million euros as part of the drone coalition and has pledged a total of 9 million euros for drone delivery in 2024. The Ministry of Defense Latvia indicated that from the reserves of the National Armed Forces, Latvia plans to donate material and technical means, including armaments and ammunition worth 22.2 million euros. Additionally, Latvia and Ukraine, under the leadership of PM Shmyhal, will begin joint production of UAVs for the defense forces of Ukraine. Lithuania, under Prime Minister Ingrid Šimonite, is set to purchase 3,000 Lithuanian-made drones for Ukraine and allocate 15 million euros to rehabilitation programs for wounded Ukrainian soldiers, as confirmed by Ukraine's Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. Lithuania's total contribution also includes 35 million euros towards the Czech initiative to purchase artillery ammunition for Ukraine.
