Germany has pledged 195 million euros ($206 million) to Ukraine in energy supplies and support for Ukrainian energy companies. The German Development Ministry announced the allocation as preparation for the upcoming winter. Additionally, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced a new military assistance package for Ukraine worth 1.4 billion euros. Ukraine is also counting on German equipment supplies for economic recovery. The Rostec subsidiary that manufactures Iskander and Kinzhal missiles is still receiving components from Europe and the US through intermediary firms, including American microchips and machine parts made in Germany.
