Most of the tanks are in non-combat condition due to lack of spare parts and repair capacity. Sebastian Schäfer is calling on the German government to strengthen repair capacity in Lithuania to get the damaged AFU vehicles back in working order. Germany has handed over 18 Leopard tanks to Ukraine.
