Texas grocery giant H-E-B is expanding its presence in the state with multiple initiatives. The company has opened new stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth (D-FW) area, including locations in Frisco, Plano, Allen, McKinney, and north Fort Worth, and operates six Central Market stores in North Texas. Additionally, H-E-B has announced plans for a new store in Murphy and a third location in Tarrant County, expected to open in 2026. A growing North Texas suburb will also see its first major grocery store. Beyond retail, H-E-B has purchased 500 acres in Hempstead for a new distribution campus aimed to enhance its operations in the Houston area.
