The U.S. Open, a historic golf tournament dating back to 1895, will be primarily hosted at three recurring 'anchor sites' over the next 25 years. The USGA has designated Pinehurst, Oakmont, and Pebble Beach as the main venues for the tournament. Pinehurst will host the U.S. Open in 2024, 2029, 2035, 2041, and 2047. Oakmont will host in 2025, 2033, 2042, and 2049, while Pebble Beach will host in 2027, 2032, 2037, and 2044. This marks a significant shift in the tournament's history, which has seen it staged at more than 50 venues. USGA president Fred Perpall emphasized the organization's commitment to these locations, particularly Pinehurst, stating, 'The USGA just fits here at Pinehurst.' All but four U.S. Opens through 2051 have venues selected.
