The National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) has announced its schedule and broadcast details for the 2024 season, marking the first season under a new collection of four-year media rights deals with CBS Sports, ESPN, Amazon, and Scripps Sports. Meanwhile, in England, Nikki Doucet has been appointed as the new CEO of the women's professional game, overseeing the Barclays Women's Super League (WSL) and Women's Championship (WC) under the newly formed NewCo, set to launch for the 2024-25 season. Doucet, a former banker and Canadian university basketball player, is set to lead a revolution in English women's football, with a focus on maintaining league structure, promotion and relegation, and the FA's golden share. Her vision includes creating a 'Glastonbury feel' at matches, expanding the fan base, and generating more revenue for clubs and players, under the initiative dubbed 'Project Moonshot'. The NWSL is also set to celebrate the grand opening of Kansas City's stadium on March 16, broadcasted on ABC.
