After 39 days docked at the International Space Station (ISS), the SpaceX Dragon cargo spacecraft, packed by the Exp 70 crew, underwent multiple scheduling changes for its undocking due to unfavorable weather conditions. Initially planned for a 5:05pm ET departure on Monday, the undocking was rescheduled multiple times, finally occurring at 5:05pm ET on Thursday from the Harmony module. The Dragon spacecraft, carrying over 4,300 pounds of scientific cargo, successfully separated from the ISS and is expected to splashdown off the coast of Florida approximately 19.5 hours after departure, having undocked while flying about 260 miles southwest of Chile. In addition to the Dragon's departure, the Northrop Grumman Cygnus spacecraft is also scheduled to leave the ISS on Friday at 8:05am ET, with live coverage beginning at 7:45am. Both cargo spacecraft are returning valuable science and supplies back to Earth.
