Long-time Richard Childress Racing competition executive Andy Petree has retired from the 55-year-old race team. Keith Rodden has been appointed interim competition director of RCR. Richard Childress, Chairman and CEO of RCR, expressed gratitude to Petree for his contributions, noting that the organization won two championships with him. Rodden, a veteran crew chief and race engineer, will expand his role to enhance RCR's Chevys and provide leadership and support. The changes are effective immediately.
