Gene Haas will continue his involvement in NASCAR by retaining one of the Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) charters and operating a new entity named Haas Factory Team. This new team will include a two-car Xfinity Series program in 2025 and will operate out of the current SHR facility. Joe Custer has been named the president of the new operation. Despite SHR ceasing operations at the end of 2024, Haas emphasized that his commitment to motorsports remains unchanged, although the scope of his involvement has been adjusted. The drivers and manufacturer for the new team have not yet been announced.
