Under the Biden/Harris Administration, the VA successfully housed 46,552 veterans, exceeding the target by 22.5%. This achievement has been recognized by several members of Congress, including Senator Cardin, who commended the VA for its 'incredible work'. Representative Barragan highlighted that over 1,700 veterans were housed in Los Angeles alone, the highest number in any city. Representative Thompson also acknowledged the VA's announcement and emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to provide permanent housing for veterans.
