A student group called UC Berkeley Bears for Palestine is organizing a vigil on Friday to honor Hamas terrorists. They have expressed their support for the terrorists with the message "Glory to our martyrs." Similarly, another student club at the University of Washington celebrated terrorist attacks against Israel, referring to Hamas as "martyrs of Palestine." The president of the University of Washington, Ana Mari Cauce, seems to have no issue with this message, as she refers to the terrorists as "Hamas gunmen." Additionally, there is another incident of antisemitism and support for Hamas on the campus of the University of Wisconsin. Students chanted "Glory to the martyrs, we will liberate the land by any means necessary" during a protest in support of Hamas. These incidents have sparked concern about the presence of antisemitism and support for terrorism on college campuses.
