The House of Representatives has passed a fourth Continuing Resolution (CR) to fund the government, amidst strong opposition from several members who criticized the resolution for perpetuating fiscal irresponsibility and failing to address key issues such as border security and national debt, now exceeding $34 trillion. Critics argue that the CR, which continues to fund the government at levels they associate with Speaker Nancy Pelosi's preferences, does not include provisions for border wall funding, specifically no money for Trump's border wall, a point of contention for those seeking stricter border security measures. The lack of action to secure the border was highlighted as a pressing concern that remains unaddressed by the current resolution. Opponents of the CR, expressing their dissatisfaction, voted against the bill, condemning it as a temporary fix that neglects the underlying problems of government spending and border security.
For the FOURTH time, I voted NO on the fiscally irresponsible Continuing Resolution (CR) that allows Pelosi spending levels. The Dem controlled Senate refuses to take up our House passed single-point appropriation bills or H.R. 2 to secure our borders. It’s clear that America’s… https://t.co/LmFKwG8Jer
I voted no on the Continuing Resolution today because it does not solve any of the issues facing the nation. Our border is wide open, our national debt is over $34 trillion and federal spending is out of control. It is time we take action and stop kicking the can down the road.
I voted NO on the 4th short-term CR. This measure simply buys the Swamp more time to finalize bad spending bills. Plus, it continues funding Joe Biden’s radical policies that are destroying our nation. Americans are counting on us to fight—not advance Washington’s status quo.
I voted ‘NO’ on the short-term CR. The American people are suffering under Joe Biden and his administration’s policies. We cannot continue to kick the can down the road. The Swamp’s status quo must end.
Congress just kicked the can further down the road. The House just passed the 4th CR to fund government at Nancy Pelosi's dream levels. We just need the guts to address the out-of-control spending and secure the border instead of caving to the swamp. I voted NO.
Our border is not secure, government spending is out of control, and Main Street America is paying the price. We cannot keep kicking the can down the road. Today I voted NO on yet another reckless CR.

Today in Washington I voted NO on yet another stopgap funding bill that does nothing to secure our border. Congress has become addicted to continuing resolutions—they’re a cop-out and a disservice to the American people.
Today, the House is voting on a continuing resolution that prolongs Biden and Pelosi's out-of-control spending once again. I will oppose this bill, because it kicks the can down the road and includes NO money for Trump's border wall. https://t.co/HYZQQaeUV6
