Several individuals involved in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot have been sentenced or are facing legal action. Tyng Jing Yang, a Hoffman Estates man, obstructed Capitol police and grabbed an officer's baton, receiving a 6-day jail sentence. Michael Haltom and James Weeks also face charges for their actions during the riot. Additionally, Aaron Sauer, a member of the Proud Boys, was arrested for his involvement in moving police barricades and assaulting officers on Jan. 6.
