Armenia is set to become the 124th member of the International Criminal Court on February 1, 2024. Judges at the top UN court have ruled that Azerbaijan must allow ethnic Armenians who fled Nagorno-Karabakh to return to their homes. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that Armenia and Azerbaijan have agreed on the basic principles for a peace treaty. Pashinyan also warned of the threat of military aggression from Azerbaijan and proposed an exchange of prisoners with Azerbaijan at the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Yerevan. Additionally, Armenia's 'Crossroads of Peace' project, which aims to link every country in the region, includes Kosovo as an independent country.
