A 26-year-old woman, Laneisha Henderson, was charged with arson and interfering with government property after allegedly attempting to burn down Martin Luther King Jr.'s birth home in Atlanta. Two off-duty and retired NYPD officers, Axel Dodson and his brother, managed to detain the suspect, who is also a decorated US Navy veteran. The officers were honored for their actions in preventing the arson, and the suspect had received awards for good conduct during her time in the Navy.
