Israeli forces conducted an early morning raid on Thursday at Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis, Gaza, resulting in the kidnapping of eight members of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, including four doctors, as well as four wounded individuals and five civilians. Among the kidnapped were family members of Yasmeen Elagha, two of whom are American citizens. The raid, which lasted ten hours, raised safety concerns for medical teams, with the Red Crescent later reporting a complete loss of contact with their teams. The IDF claimed it facilitated the delivery of over 20 oxygen tanks and medical equipment to the hospital, despite allegations of the hospital being used by Hamas as an operational hideout. Contradicting the IDF's claims, the Red Crescent stated that Israel had been blocking oxygen cylinder deliveries for over a week, resulting in the deaths of three patients.
