Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for a multiple suicide drone attack on the Israeli Defense Forces' (IDF) Northern Command headquarters in Safed. The group stated that the attack, which involved a number of explosives-laden drones, was part of the retaliation for the alleged assassination of Hamas official Saleh al-Arouri in Beirut last week, as well as the targeting of senior Hezbollah commander Wissam al-Tawil. The IDF has not yet commented on the incident. According to reports, the attack caused minor damage to the base, which is located approximately 13 kilometers from the Lebanese border. The operation was codenamed '27A'.
