A new Android espionage campaign, named eXotic Visit, has been discovered targeting users primarily in India and Pakistan. The campaign, identified by ESETresearch and reported by TechCrunch and The Hacker News, utilizes apps infused with XploitSPY malware, masquerading mostly as messaging services. Some of these malicious applications, including ones named "ChitChat" and "Alpha Chat", were found on Google Play, posing a significant security threat.
