Two separate fire incidents in Delhi within the last 24 hours have claimed the lives of ten individuals, including seven newborns. In Krishna Nagar, a fire broke out at around 2 am, resulting in three deaths and three injuries. Seven people were safely rescued by the Delhi Fire Services (DFS) unit. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Another fire occurred at a baby care center, where loud blasts were heard, resulting in the deaths of seven newborns and critical injuries to five others. The Delhi Fire Services responded promptly, with Director Atul Garg noting the challenges faced due to the blasts of cylinders and the single exit route in the buildings. The DFS control room received a call at 2:35 am regarding the fire.
