A massive fire broke out in Chandni Chowk, Delhi, on Thursday, gutting more than 50 shops and causing extensive damage worth crores of rupees. The Delhi Fire Services (DFS) reported significant difficulties in controlling the blaze due to congested lanes. Firefighters worked overnight in stifling heat to bring the situation under control.
