Bihar is experiencing an intense heatwave that has resulted in multiple fatalities. Eight people have died of suspected heat stroke, with four bodies sent for post-mortem, according to Mohania Police Station In-charge Satish Kumar Ravi. District Magistrate Mahendra Kumar reported three deaths in Arrah and highlighted the challenges posed by the high temperatures. The Aurangabad Health Department confirmed 12 deaths due to the heatwave, with more than 20 individuals admitted to various hospitals. The Bihar Health Department also reported deaths in Kaimur.
