The Nasdaq 100 index saw a 0.57% increase, with only 29 stocks rising compared to 71 declining. This rise marks a record as more than 40 stocks declined while the index rose over 0.5%. Despite this, the index outperformed the Nasdaq 100 Equal Weight by around 90 basis points.
