Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that he will not sign any agreements with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, whom he considers illegitimate. This stance was reiterated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov at the BRICS summit, in response to Zelensky's proposed peace formula being discussed at the Swiss peace summit. Peskov emphasized that while Putin does not reject the possibility of negotiations with Ukraine, he believes Zelensky is not the appropriate person for such agreements due to the expiration of his five-year term and the lack of a presidential election under martial law.
