Netflix has announced price hikes for some of its subscription plans in the United States, United Kingdom, and France. The Basic plan will now cost $11.99 per month, while the Premium plan will be priced at $22.99 per month. The changes will not affect the streaming giant's ads and Standard plans. The price increases come as Netflix continues to invest heavily in content production and faces competition from other streaming platforms.
