A former Boston police K-9 officer, who participated in the response to the Boston Marathon bombing, was sentenced to 20 months for using a chair to attack a Capitol Police officer. Additionally, an upstate New York man pleaded guilty to federal felony and misdemeanor charges for grabbing a police officer’s pepper spray canister during the riot.
