The eastern plains of Colorado are facing a significant risk of severe thunderstorms, with the highest chances occurring from noon through 3 PM. A strong storm has developed over Aurora and will move north across Denver International Airport and into southeast Weld county by 5 PM. The Midwest is also under threat, with a moderate risk of severe weather in southeast Iowa and northwest Illinois on Tuesday, including damaging tornadoes and straight-line winds.
