On April 20, 2024, six student activists from the Coalition of Students Resisting the CCP and Students for a Free Tibet disrupted a speech by Chinese Ambassador to the U.S., Xie Feng, at the Harvard Kennedy School. The protest highlighted Xie's role during the 2019 protests and crackdowns in Hong Kong and his alleged complicity in human rights abuses in Tibet, Hong Kong, East Turkestan, and Taiwan. During the event, one female activist was forcibly removed by Zou Hongji, a Harvard graduate student. The ambassador was reportedly stunned into silence by the confrontations.
