A Chinese vessel is being investigated by Estonia for its potential involvement in the damage to an underwater cable. The ship suspected of cutting the gas pipeline and communications cables with its anchor, the NewNew Polar Bear, has received special permission to transit the Northern Sea Route accompanied by a Russian nuclear icebreaker.
