China's youth unemployment rates for different age groups have been revealed by the National Bureau of Statistics. In May, the jobless rate for 16-24-year-olds, excluding students, was 14.2%, while for 25-29-year-olds, it was 6.6%. Additionally, the overall surveyed urban unemployment rate in China decreased to 5% in May from a peak of 5.3% in February. The Human Resources Ministry in China has also introduced 11 measures to support youth employment, including college graduates.
