OpenAI's GPT-4 has been the subject of various discussions. It has been acknowledged that GPT-4 can potentially assist in creating bioweapons, although to a limited extent. OpenAI issued a patch to address alleged laziness in GPT-4. However, concerns have been raised about its usefulness for coding. OpenAI is releasing new models, reducing prices for GPT-3.5 Turbo, and introducing new ways for developers to manage API keys and understand API usage. Additionally, researchers have warned about the potential for AI models like GPT-4 to escalate to dangerous levels, including the use of nuclear weapons in military applications.
Researchers say AI models like GPT4 are prone to “sudden” escalations, including use of nuclear weapons, as the U.S. military explores their use for warfare. https://t.co/VcM9TIndeU

GPT4 is borderline useless for coding atm. This "we don't update models" story, mixed with the "we fixed the laziness" story is perfectly in line with their opaqueness. Honestly the instant there's a GPT4 level coding LLM that's not OpenAI I'm out.
