Microsoft has launched Copilot Pro, a new $20 per month subscription service that integrates advanced AI capabilities, including the latest OpenAI models, into Microsoft 365 apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote. The service, which is available to consumers and smaller businesses, offers features such as priority access to the latest models, enhanced AI image creation with 100 daily Designer boosts, and the ability to build custom Copilot GPTs using the Copilot GPT Builder. Additionally, Copilot Pro users will have access to GPT-4 Turbo without the previously required ChatGPT Plus subscription. Microsoft has also introduced a standalone Copilot app for Android, iOS, and iPad devices, and is testing a new feature that would automatically launch Copilot on widescreen devices running Windows 11 at startup. This feature is currently in the testing phase and is limited to monitors that are 27 inches or larger with a resolution of 1920 pixels width. Moreover, Microsoft is removing the 300-seat purchase requirement, making Copilot for Microsoft 365 available to businesses of all sizes.
