Voting Halted Briefly in Kishtwar Amid Scuffle Involving BJP's Shagun Parihar

Voting was briefly halted at a polling station in Bagwan Mohalla, Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir, following a protest over voter identification. BJP candidate Shagun Parihar claimed she was heckled and manhandled by PDP workers during the first phase of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections. A scuffle reportedly broke out between BJP and PDP workers at the polling station.
