Russia's Sever Battlegroup Nears Completion of Kursk Liberation, 86% Territory Reclaimed

The Kremlin has announced that the Russian military operation to liberate the Kursk region from Ukrainian forces is entering its final stage. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov reported that the operation, led by the Russian Sever Battlegroup, has been progressing and was recently briefed to President Vladimir Putin. According to reports, 86% of the territory in the Kursk province previously occupied by Ukrainian troops has been liberated. Over 1,100 square kilometers have been reclaimed, with Ukrainian forces suffering losses of 67,000 military personnel and 7,000 pieces of equipment, including 391 tanks, 2,780 combat vehicles, and over 1,000 artillery and mortar pieces.
