Moscow Suffers Largest Drone Attack: 337 Drones Intercepted, Two Dead, Air Traffic Disrupted

Moscow and its surrounding region experienced what Russian officials described as the largest drone attack on the capital since the start of the war. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, 337 drones were intercepted across 10 regions, with 91 drones targeting the Moscow region and 73 directed at the capital itself. The attack resulted in at least two fatalities and multiple injuries, including children. Damage was reported in areas such as Domodedovo and Vidnoye, where residential buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure were affected. Seven apartments were damaged, and several residents were evacuated. Burnt vehicles were observed in Domodedovo. Air traffic at Moscow's airports, including Domodedovo and Zhukovsky, was temporarily suspended, with some flights diverted to Samara. Train services in the Domodedovo area were disrupted, and a railway station sustained damage. The attack coincided with peace talks between Ukrainian and U.S. officials in Saudi Arabia.
