Chinese Premier Li Qiang met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Riyadh on Wednesday to discuss deepening bilateral ties between China and Saudi Arabia. During the meeting, Premier Li emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation in sectors such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, infrastructure, and trade. He also called for the acceleration of free trade agreement negotiations with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Premier Li urged Saudi companies to increase their investments in China and strengthen their presence in the Chinese market. Additionally, he highlighted the prioritization of Saudi Arabia in China's Middle East diplomacy. The meetings were reported by Xinhua and the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
