Ukraine and the United States have engaged in productive discussions regarding a ceasefire and security guarantees, with U.S. envoy Keith Kellogg meeting with Ukrainian officials in London. U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent met with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and Finance Minister Sergii Marchenko during their visit to Washington for the IMF and World Bank meetings, stressing the need to sign an economic partnership as soon as possible. However, Finance Minister Marchenko indicated that while progress has been made, the agreement will not be finalized this week due to unresolved issues.
