Trump Blames Zelensky, Putin, and Biden for War After Deadly Sumy Attack Kills 34 on Palm Sunday

Trump's remarks came during a meeting with El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele, where he criticized Zelensky's competence and accused him of starting a war against a country '20 times' Ukraine's size, suggesting that Ukraine should not have expected to receive missiles from other nations. Trump also attributed the war's casualties to three individuals: Russian President Vladimir Putin, former U.S. President Joe Biden, and Zelensky. He claimed that 'millions of people are dead because of three people,' listing Putin first, followed by Biden, whom he described as incompetent, and then Zelensky. Trump expressed his desire to end the conflict, stating that his administration is working on proposals to stop the war. Moscow claimed the Sumy strike targeted a meeting of 60 Ukrainian soldiers, but Ukrainian media reported a medal ceremony for military veterans was taking place, leading to the sacking of Sumy's regional chief. The Russian attack on Sumy was described by Trump as 'terrible' but also as a 'mistake' made by Russia.
