Sudan Accuses Rapid Support Forces of Killing Eight Civilians and Looting UN Aid in West Kordofan and El-Obeid Attacks

Sudan's Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have been accused by the Sudanese government and military of multiple violent actions in recent days. The RSF allegedly attacked the Al-Hawaq area southeast of Al-Nahud in West Kordofan state, resulting in the deaths of three civilians and severe injuries to three others, including a woman, according to the Dar Hamr Emergency Room. Additionally, Sudan's military accused the RSF of conducting a drone attack in El-Obeid, the capital of North Kordofan state, which killed five civilians and targeted the Grand Market, the industrial zone, and other facilities. The Sudanese government also accused the RSF of looting United Nations humanitarian aid in the Koma area of North Darfur after bombing and burning the supplies. These accusations underline ongoing conflict and humanitarian concerns involving the RSF across multiple regions in Sudan.
