India Says Pakistan Used 300-400 Turkish Drones in May 8-9 Attacks; India Retaliated, Reports Some Losses

Indian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed most of the drones, including a combat drone that attempted to strike Bhatinda. In response, India launched armed drones targeting four Pakistani air defense sites, destroying one. Indian officials confirmed some losses and injuries among their forces during the attacks. The wreckage of the drones is under forensic examination to confirm their origin. The Ministry of External Affairs and Indian Army spokespeople have publicly stated Pakistan's use of Turkish drones in this operation, which is part of ongoing tensions between the two countries.
