Meta's latest venture into AI-powered wearable technology, particularly their Ray-Ban AI Glasses, is generating significant buzz for its practical functionality and appealing design. The new advertisement for the Ray-Ban AI Glasses highlights their potential to integrate AI seamlessly into daily life. Despite competition from products like Apple's Vision Pro, which has been criticized for its high cost and Meta's own Quest 3 series, the Ray-Ban AI Glasses are praised for their superior usability and form factor, especially for glasses wearers. Users report that Meta Ray Bans perform better in almost every case compared to other devices. The product's design and multi-modal capabilities are seen as pivotal in advancing towards an ambient computing future.
As someone who has owned every model of Snapchat glasses as well as the Meta Ray Bans, I’m astounded at the way Meta’s are so well received vs the relative indifference to Snap’s. Is it because they look cooler? Is it because of the ability to play music? The AI? Better timing?
Ray-Ban Meta, Humane AI pin, Rabbit r1… all have similar USPs, the promise of a multi-modal AI device that takes us closer to an ambient computing future. Design, form factor arguably as important as any tech specs. We haven’t been here in a while… exciting time to be alive!
Pretty good for v1, but I still don’t understand why you’d want a new handheld device just for AI! I can’t imagine ever using it. I tried every request on my Meta Ray Bans. It was better in almost every case, & the form factor is way more useful if you wear glasses. https://t.co/PFRfVYJ9Ih
FROM IMAGINATION TO REALITY! 😎 @Meta just dropped a new ad for their Ray-Ban AI Glasses. A huge leap towards integrating AI into everyone's daily experience. What could NFPrompt be building towards? Better visuals? Metaverse? 👀 Any guesses? 👇 https://t.co/IfiFqki6Rz
Even I, a distinguished Meta hater gentleman use the Quest 3 more than my Vision Pro. The Vision Pro did not in fact not have a good Vision. It was like so many things in VR: a problem looking for a solution. Apple needs a big revamp for v2. Also ffs it’s so expensive. https://t.co/s2jXk0J9Zk
Meta is quietly building a monster w/ practical functionality and a natural form-factor that doesn't suck to use. Wouldn't be surprised if their Ray-Ban business ultimately beats out their own Quest, Apple Vision Pro, all the AI wearables etc as the preferred next-gen format. https://t.co/J6PoYX7JpK
