The National Weather Service issued a Flash Flood Warning for the area until 10:30 PM MDT. The flooding was caused by an intense rainfall that delivered about a month's worth of rain in just 10 minutes. Emergency management reported flash flooding in small creeks, streams, urban areas, highways, streets, underpasses, and other low-lying areas. Many parts of the Beehive State could use a little rain, but the impact in Moab was severe.
